Welcome to South Torrance (Region 12) of the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO).  We provide year-round recreational and competitive youth soccer programs that are enjoyed by 3-year-olds (playground) all the way up to 19-year-olds (19U). 

What is AYSO Core?

Our Grassroots program is the foundation for all the fun, excitement, and learning that happens on the fields! We have developed our soccer program to be age-appropriate and developmentally challenging based on our Six Philosophies, which are the essence of AYSO’s Mission and Vision and guide all that we do.

What does “Everyone Plays®” mean?

In AYSO, Everyone Plays(R) means that no child spends their soccer experience sitting on the bench. Every child plays at least half of every game.

How Do I Register For 2019 South Torrance AYSO Fall Soccer?

All players (both new and returning) must go to and register and pay online by credit card. We can no longer accept checks or cash.  Click on the Register Now button in the top right corner.

AYSO is proud to offer a very special program for children and adults with physical or mental disabilities. Our VIP (Very Important Player) program provides a safe, fun environment with trained coaches and volunteers who facilitate an enriching experience that the players and their families will cherish forever.

Boys & Girls in U3-U5 and NEW players will need a valid birth certificate/passport for age verification

How Do I Pay Online By Credit Card?

You pay by credit card at . After you complete the registration for all your children. If you are registering more than 2 children, you need to register all children first and then pay by credit card for all your children collectively, so you can receive sibling discount after Early bird pricing.

When Can I Start To Register on Line at and How Much Is Registration?

What's included in our registration fee-  Fee includes a ball, jersey, shorts, and socks. AYSO Membership, PLAYSOCCER Magazine!

Fall registration for everyone begins on March 1, 2019 at

Registration takes place online and via credit card.  If you are unable to pay via credit card, please contact Sandra @ [email protected]

Players who register prior to May 31, 2019 will pay the early bird registration fee of $155. 
A regular registration fee of $185.00 occurs between June 1, 2019 and July 31, 2019. 
Players who register after July 31, 2019 will pay the registration fee of $250.  Players who register at this time are not guaranteed a spot on a team and will be placed on a waiting list.  

All registration fees included the non-refundable AYSO National Fee of $20.00.

During regular registration, a 3rd sibling who is registered online with the same account will be registered at a reduced fee of $155.00.

All Playground and Schoolyard players, ages 3, 4 and 5, pay the regular price of $140 at all times.  

VIP - $55.00

Refund deadline is July 31, 2019 - Any refunds issued will have the AYSO National Fee of $20.00 deducted. This fee is a non-refundable fee. Please email Sandra @ [email protected] with the player's name, reason for refund request.


Remember:  Make sure you register ALL your children first at  and then pay by credit card collectively, so you can receive the sibling discount (if you register by July 31, 2019)

How Do I Prepare a Player Registration Form?

The website provides a simplified log in procedures and step-by-step instructions to guide you through the registration process for players and volunteers. If you registered your child last year at and you enter your child's name identically into the new registration website, his/her eAYSO ID will be automatically transferred to the new registration site.

The information you enter at becomes your child's registration form, which is also his or her medical release.  Please make sure you enter accurately/update all contact information for parents, all emergency contacts, the name of your child's school, and all e-mail addresses.

IMPORTANT!!: The online registration process will lead you through multiple pages. When you reach the page that displays the completed Player Registration Form and has a box at the top that provides instructions on electronic signatures, it is important that you scroll down, check the box marked "I agree to use an electronic signature", type in your name in the signature box, and click "Continue". Then you must click "Submit" on the bottom of the next page to submit the Player Application Form. After you have completed the steps to register all of your children, check the boxes of all of the children you have registered and click on Online Payments to pay the registration fee and complete the registration process.  

Please note when registering more than one child: When registering more than one child, please complete each registration BEFORE paying online. After you have completed the last child’s registration form you can then submit payment for all children and receive the Family discount. If you pay online individually after each player, Blue Sombrero will not acknowledge the family discount and will charge you the full registration fee per child.

Most Common Blue Sombrero Registration Problem: We have found the most common problem in not completing your registration completely is when you get to the eSignature portion of the registration. 

There are two pages to this section, please scroll and check the accept box, sign your name and then scroll to the bottom, click continue, then on the 2nd page, scroll to the bottom and submit. If you do not complete these pages you will not get to the payment screen page and we will not be able to register your child to play in the Fall without completely completing the registration process. 

What Is Your Refund Policy?

All refunds for fall soccer must be requested by July 31, 2019. There are no refunds after July 31st.

Any refunds issued will have the AYSO National Fee of $20.00 deducted. This fee a is non-refundable fee.
