AYSO region 12 is pleased to announce that starting this year we will be offering our annual educational scholarships for volunteers! The information about Spring of 2024 is listed below, and we hope to add more opportunities in the coming seasons!
Spring 2024
(1) $500 scholarship for a high school student volunteer (junior or senior)
(1) $500 scholarship for a high school (junior or senior) or college student who is a child of an adult volunteer
All Applications will be submitted via this Google Form. All Letters of Recommendation will be emailed to [email protected]. Both are due by March 31, 2024.
When applying as a high school student, the following requirements will need to be met:
3.0 GPA for current year (proven with a transcript or a screenshot of Powerschool or other grading program)
1 letter of recommendation – to be emailed by the recommender to [email protected]
First essay – What are your future plans? 300 words maximum
Second essay – What did volunteering for AYSO mean to you? 300 words maximum
When applying as a child of an adult volunteer, the criteria for a high school student should be met, except for the second essay. The adult volunteer must also meet the following requirements:
